PLACE AN ORDER

STEP 1: SHIP your order: 
             -  Place your order, by completing the SCANNING ORDER FORM. (bottom of page)
             -  Carefully follow our INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS  
                  (click for form), and ship your items to SCAN MY PICS.biz using a traceable method.

STEP 2:  PROCESSING your scanning order:
             -  Upon receipt of your order, SCAN MY PICS.biz will inspect the items and assign an
                  Order Number for processing.
             -  An email will be sent to you verifying receipt of your order, providing you an
                  Order Number and provide an estimated date of completion.
             -  Your photographs / documents will be scanned according to the order of the
                  batches in your box. If you included index cards at the front of your batches,
                  they will also be scanned at the front of each batch.  
             -  Additional selected SCANNING OPTIONS will be completed at this time.
             -  Your new digital images will be recorded onto a DVD. SCAN MY PICS.biz will
                  print directly onto the DVD a basic label including your Project Name and the
                  date. (Standard Pricing)   

    STEP 3:  RETURN SHIPPING of your completed scanning order:
                 -  We will carefully repack your photographs/documents and your new DVD(s) back 
                      into your box and prepare them for return shipping. Return Shipping charges will
                           be estimated and added to your total.  Your account will be charged at this time.
                 -  We will return ship your box to the mailing address provided by you via a
                      traceable method.
                 -  A final email will be sent to you with the tracking information and the               
                      estimated delivery date of your order.
        
    FINAL STEP:  ENJOY and SHARE them!
                 -  You can now enjoy and share your digital images easily with family and friends!

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

     

    1. At what DPI (dots per inch) do you scan?  With our Standard Pricing, we scan all photographs/documents at 600 dpi.  You   can choose to have them scanned at a lower DPI, although the pricing will not change.  You can also select a higher DPI of 1200, please see our Additional Scanning Options for pricing.   
    2. Can you scan the backs of my photographs? Yes, we can.  Please see go to the Pricing & Options page and refer to Additional Scanning Options for pricing. 
    3. How long will it take to complete my order?  Typically, turn around time is 7-day to Return Shipping.
    4. What are the benefits of your services? Our services provide an affordable, quick & easy way to scan, high-quality digital files and a chance to start using and enjoying them.  Doing your own scanning on a flatbed and other desktop type scanners typically can provide only one scan at a time and only one side at a time.  Scanning using this method can be very time consuming and laborous.  We can complete your order in short period of time (not months or years), using a professional, high-speed, photo scanner and begin Return Shipping typically within 7-days.
